📦 6.1 Standard vs Non-Standard Delivery

For the purposes of delivery, cancellation, and refund calculations, deliveries are categorised as follows:

Standard Delivery

  • Height: 1 metre or less
  • Diameter/Width: 30 cm or less
  • Weight: 20 kg or less
  • Delivery charge: £9.95 + VAT (£11.94) or less

Standard deliveries are typically handled via national parcel couriers.

🚚 Non-Standard Delivery

Applies where any of the following conditions are met:

  • Item exceeds 1 metre in height
  • Item exceeds 30 cm in diameter or weighs over 20 kg
  • Multiple items that require multi-parcel or palletised shipping
  • Delivery charge exceeds £9.95 + VAT (£11.94)

⚠️ All deliveries with charges exceeding £9.95 + VAT are classed as non-standard, regardless of whether shipped by courier or pallet network.

  • The delivery is refused
  • The location is inaccessible
  • The customer requests delivery to a safe place that is not suitable or permitted by the courier

Then:

  • The return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund
  • Original delivery charges will not be refunded if the delivery was attempted as agreed
